A Strategic Presence at the Heart of Intra-African Trade

The 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) took place in Algiers from September 4 to 10, 2025. The event was held at the Exhibition Palace and the International Conference Center. Under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, over 2,000 exhibitors and 35,000 professionals from across Africa attended. As a result, ELEC EL DJAZAIR's participation underscored its commitment to the growth of African trade and regional partnerships. Moreover, this edition of IATF has reinforced its role as a key platform for African trade and integration.

A Strong Pavilion for ELEC EL DJAZAIR's Subsidiaries

ELEC EL DJAZAIR mobilized its subsidiaries at the central pavilion (Annex C1). The stands displayed a variety of integrated solutions. These included sectors like electronics, home appliances, energy, electrical engineering, telecommunications, cabling, and plastics. This collective showcase demonstrated the group's ability to provide competitive industrial solutions. Thus, it highlighted the rise of Algerian production on the African market.

Institutional Visits and Strategic Meetings

The opening ceremony was attended by heads of state and high-ranking officials. In fact, President Tebboune visited the pavilion and was briefed on the innovations presented. Notably, INATEL received special attention for its telecommunications solutions. Additionally, the Minister of Transport met with the teams to discuss matters related to railway signaling and cabling. These discussions fostered valuable B2B exchanges and opened new opportunities for regional cooperation.

Partnerships and Agreements Signed

ELEC EL DJAZAIR’s participation culminated in the signing of ten commercial agreements with African partners. These agreements cover industries such as home appliances by ENIEM and SONARIC, electronics by ENIE, and generators and transformers by ELECTRO-INDUSTRIES. In addition, INATEL secured a contract to supply 2 million electronic payment terminals (TPE) to Nigeria. Ultimately, these agreements create opportunities for expanding commercial relations in West Africa and the Sahel.

A Strategic Contribution to the AfCFTA and National Production

ELEC EL DJAZAIR’s presence at IATF 2025 aligns with Algeria's national strategy to promote “Made in Algeria” products. Furthermore, the group actively supports the ACFTA goals by enhancing intra-African trade. In this way, it contributes to Africa’s industrial transformation and supports the continent’s productive sovereignty.
